Our dinner staff, Sandi and Tram, are both away visiting their families for the holidays so we will not be serving dinner for the next two weeks. The bakery, on the other hand, is open per usual. Come on by for delicious pastries, sandwiches, and pies.

Beet Salad

We have a new salad on the menu, beets with peaches and red onion. My friend Marja made this salad for us a few years ago and I absolutely loved it and raved about it. Now, when she makes it for me as a special treat her love makes the salad taste especially sweet.

Tram is hand rolling meatballs made with beef, pork, bread crumbs and assorted spices for our spaghetti and meatball special.

Summer Hours

It was brought to my attention recently that our summer hours are not accurate on our web page. Because of our dinner service, we are open Thursday through Sunday from 6:30 am to 9:00 pm. We are a full service establishment beginning at
5:30 pm, we will serve desserts and coffee at your table after seating you, or sell baked goods to you for take-out. It is confusing that we switch over to full service at 5:30 and I do apologize for that, but hopefully you will stay and enjoy our delicious dinners. Right now our specials include clams, either in Pasta Vongole or served without pasta as an appetizer and a asian style preparation of mussels, with coconut milk and a hint of sweetness. Hope to see you soon!

Have you ever noticed all the great signs and lettering on downtown businesses? All the good stuff is done by Ira Coyne, sign painter extraordinaire. We were fortunate to be able to get him to make our new sandwich board because it’s tough to book him, he’s so busy.
